Quality

The paperwork is part of the part.

A part that fits but arrives without its documents is a part your receiving team cannot book in. We submit under our own name, we keep the records, and we send them with the shipment.

Conforming is the minimum. A lot can pass every characteristic and still be telling you something. When a set of readings sits consistently to one side of nominal instead of scattering around it, that is a tool condition rather than noise. It goes in the file as an instruction to re-measure on the next run, and it gets dealt with long before anything drifts out of tolerance. Noticing that is the part you are actually buying.

Submissions

PPAP, at the level your order calls for.

Level 2 and Level 3 submissions, issued as one numbered package so nothing arrives loose. Hard copy travels with the shipment and an electronic copy goes to your quality contacts the same day.

Part submission warrantMaterial, lot, dimensional and appearance results declared and signed, with the production conditions stated.
Certificate of conformanceIssued against the drawing of record and the purchase order, referencing the lot it covers.
Ballooned drawingEvery characteristic numbered, so the dimensional sheet can be read against the print without anyone guessing which feature is which.
Dimensional resultsEach balloon measured, the gauge named, the deviation from nominal recorded — not just a pass mark.
Material traceabilityMill certificate and lot number, tied to the shipment and held on file.
Appearance approvalColour, print and finish against the reference sample or Pantone standard.

Inspection

First article to AS9102 discipline.

We use the AS9102 structure for first articles whether or not your programme requires it, because it forces every characteristic to be accounted for rather than the ones somebody happened to check.

Conforming is the minimum. A lot can pass every characteristic and still be telling you something. Random variation scatters either side of nominal; a set of readings that all sit to one side is a tool condition, not noise. That distinction is the difference between finding a problem on your line and finding it on ours. When we see it, it goes in the file as an instruction to re-measure on the next run.

Every shipment

What arrives with the parts.

The same package on every order, whether it is twenty pieces or ten thousand. No shipment leaves without it.

01

Order acknowledgment

Issued when your order lands, carrying our ship date, the price and the quantities we are committing to.

02

Packing slip

Covering the whole order, with a copy in every carton and a box-by-box breakdown of what is inside each one.

03

Carton labels

Box number, purchase order, part number and quantity on the outside of every carton.

04

Shipment notification

Emailed the day it leaves, with tracking for every carton and the expected dock date.

05

Invoice

Sent separately to your accounts payable contact, referencing the purchase order and the packing slip so it matches first time.

06

Quality package

Certificates, dimensional results and the drawing of record, in hard copy inside the carton where your order requires it.

Dates

Our date, not a copy of yours.

When an order arrives we look at the need date, work backwards through material and capacity, and acknowledge a date we can actually hold.

If that date is later than the one you asked for, you hear it in writing on day one rather than on the day it was due. Nothing is late against a date we never agreed to, and nothing is quietly slipped.
